If you plan to play COD 1 multiplayer at all, don’t miss it. The inclusion of vehicles is surprisingly dynamic, like a battlefield game. Naturally, there are also many new maps for the car game. There is also a basic addition: ground vehicles. The multiplayer has a small number of players, although I’m sure there’s more to it than a base game. Even so, owning one is still beyond the reach of the average person. It shows real-world dynamics, meaning it’s like a war movie, and also that hard challenges make the demand for a game more difficult in a war game than watching a war. The campaign is small but has long missions, some of which put you in a very unique position compared to WWII’s usual FPS fare. There are so many different maps (Both serious and silly) the game will never go stale and unlike modern versions of the Franchise which release yearly and provide no modification tools to the community, effectively making the game stale after a year. Mods are another thing that makes the United Offensive such a great game. There are also some new weapons, including usable machine guns such as the MG34. You can’t do too many spirits, which limits its usefulness, but that’s it. The expansion notably introduces sprinting, one of the most popular COD mechanics in the series for the first time. Genres: First-person shooter – Developed by: Gray Matter Interactive – Published by: Activision – PC Released date: September 14, 2004Ĭall of Duty (COD): United Offensive is a reasonable expansion for the first call of duty, and it goes far beyond that.
